CPR (B2ca) certification for Multipair and Multicore cables

Cables designed for permanent installation in various settings, such as residential, commercial, office, hospital, museum, school, airport, and railway buildings, must comply with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) as specified in BS EN 50575. This regulation categorises cables into seven Euroclasses:  Fca, Eca, Dca, Cca, B2ca, B1ca, and Aca. Generally, B2ca is the highest classification that cables are expected to meet. Each Euroclass has additional tests to assess Smoke density, burning Droplets and gas Acidity).

Compliance Standard: (EU) No 305/2011  – EN 50575:2014+A1:2016 

All our cables have been CPR tested by an independent test house. DoP’s (Declaration of Performance) certificates accompany all cables. Certificate of Constancy of Performance by product group available upon request.

B2ca fire performance: low flame spread and heat release tested to BS EN 60332-1-2 and BS EN 50399
