Recently supplied: A water leak detection sensing cable designed to detect water anywhere along its entire length.
This particular cable is a 2-core LSZH twisted cable and 2 stainless steel sensor wires twisted together.
Construction
The cable supplied (black and yellow cores in photo), is constructed from 7/0.2mm stranded bare copper conductors with LSZH insulation giving a min. break strength of 130N. The cores are twisted with 18mm lay length along with 2 x stainless steel 0.4mm diameter wires acting as sensor wires.
The rated temperature is -20DegC – +80DegC. Maximum operating voltage 300V RMS. The maximum continuous length is 500m.
Applications – suitable for water detection in any dry environment: under floors, ceilings, pipe runs, and conduits.
